2022 Genesis G70 Gets Sleeker Design

Genesis G70 is getting a significant redesign for ear 2020 that will make it larger looking than its sibling G80, which has similar styling as GV80, the first SUV by Genesis.

The new G70 will be having a wagon model but it is not confirmed that it will come in states of not. The automaker has confirmed that it will no longer offer a manual transmission in the new G70.

G70 new look is similar to the 2021 G80 and GV80 SUV. it features a mesh grille and quad-headlamp setup and two bar theme in the rear continues with led taillights, and under that, there are dual oval exhaust tips and rear diffuser.

As we all know larger screen for infotainment is getting common that’s why the current model’s 8.0-inch central display is replaced by a 10.3-inch touch screen display and will be standard on all models and the new model will also have standard Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Except for these, the wireless charging pad changed to a horizontal layout to fit larger phones and the rest of the interior is kept simple yet elegant.

The previous model was powered by a 2.0 L engine now it is powered by a 2.5 L inline-four cylinder engine that produces 290 horsepower. Six-speed manual transmissions will not be longer offered in the new G70.

2020 Genesis G70 will go on sale next month in South Korea and maybe at the same time, it will come in the US. It will be having a starting price of over $37,000.
